"Usually when people think of the word "failure", they regard it with very negative connotations, and they view it as a bad thing.
I would beg to differ. Every time you fail at something, it means you learned. If you continue going when presented with a failure, and work to see how you can improve- that's when you get the most valuable experiences out the situation. I don't really think any of us truly take into account the Thomas Edison quote: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” With that quote Thomas Edison showed how in the typical terms of society, the generic term "failure" is seen as a very bad thing. But he understood that every failure is an opportunity to know what doesn't work, which consequentially paves you the path to improvement." |

Poetry is an outlet and a connective device that we all can use, and excludes no one. We don't just use poetry to express ourselves, we use ourselves to express poetry.
We use our experiences to show others what poetry truly is to us."
